The International Federation of Sport Climbing (IFSC) holds regular meetings with its major stakeholders – Executive Board, National Federations, Commissions, and athletes. The majority of these meeting takes place online, while in-person gatherings are scheduled at least once per year, and on specific occasions.
The IFSC General Assembly is the most important event in the institutional calendar: it takes place once per year, and is organised in close collaboration with the hosting National Federation. The IFSC Executive Board is elected every four years by the General Assembly, meeting at least once per month, virtually, and twice per year, in person.
The IFSC organised the first-ever Climbing Summit in December 2019. The second edition of the Summit took place in November 2022.
