ISRAELI LEAD AND PARACLIMBING CHAMPIONSHIPS TO STREAM LIVE ON IFSC YOUTUBE CHANNEL
Following a distinct lack of Sport Climbing competitions in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the IFSC is delighted to announce that the Israeli Lead and Paraclimbing Championships shall be streamed live this Friday, 13 November, on the IFSC official YouTube Channel.
The action, hosted by the Association for Sport Climbing & Mountaineering in Israel (ILCA), will begin with Paraclimbing at 12:00 (UTC+1:00), with Lead coverage starting immediately after at 1:15 PM. Podium awarding ceremonies shall conclude the championships, which are scheduled to end at 3:00 PM.
IFSC President Marco Scolaris said:
“THIS YEAR HAS NOT BEEN WITHOUT ITS CHALLENGES, BUT AS CLIMBERS WE ARE USED TO LOOKING UPWARDS AND OVERCOMING CRUXES. OUR OPTIMISM THAT WE WILL SOON CLIMB THE WORLD AGAIN HAS BEEN ONGOING AND NOW, WE LOOK FORWARD TO SHARING A LIVE SPORT CLIMBING COMPETITION ONCE MORE, THANKS TO OUR FRIENDS IN ISRAEL.”

- 12:00 PM (UTC+1:00) - Paraclimbing: presentation and observation
- 12:15 PM - Paraclimbing: competition
- 1:15 PM - Lead: presentation and observation
- 1:30 PM - Lead: competition
- 2:45 PM - Award ceremonies
