ZHIXIN LI ELECTED PRESIDENT OF THE IFSC ASIAN COUNCIL
The Member Federations of the International Federation of Sport Climbing (IFSC) Asian Council met virtually on Friday, 19 March, electing the new Executive Board and commissions.
Participants included representatives of 15 National Federations: Chinese Taipei; Hong Kong, China; India; the Islamic Republic of Iran; Indonesia; Japan; Kazakhstan; Malaysia; Nepal; Pakistan; the People’s Republic of China; Philippines; the Republic of Korea; Singapore and Thailand.
The IFSC Asia Executive Board is now formed by the following members:

Two athletes’ representatives will be elected and join the board as soon as an athletes’ meeting will take place.
Mr Li, who also occupies the position of President of the Chinese Mountaineering Association, served as IFSC Vice President – Communications from 2013 to 2021. The new IFSC Asia Executive Board will remain in charge until 2025.
