IFSC PRESIDENT MARCO SCOLARIS FEATURED IN LATEST EPISODES OF SPORT INTERN’S PODCAST
The President of the International Federation of Sport Climbing (IFSC), Marco Scolaris, is the guest of the two latest episodes of Sport Intern’s podcast – hosted by editor Ashish Sharma – where he looked back at the path that the IFSC took to make its debut at the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020.
“Tokyo 2020 was a special moment because, honestly, when we started the sport in 1985, nobody could even imagine one day we would be in the Olympic Games,” said President Scolaris.
“It’s really a pleasure for us to stay together with our friends in the Olympic Movement, and for our friends to stay together with us: everybody’s smiling, everybody’s stopping, everybody’s shaking hands which somehow for some people this sounds a little crazy but it is the way it is: the world of sport is a big family.”
